How to play

Every song in the daily set works the same way:

  1. Press play to hear a clip of the song — up to 30 seconds long.

  2. Pick the track from four options, each shown as “title — idol”. Tapping an option locks in your guess.

  3. Guessed wrong? The question ends right there — your pick is crossed out, the correct answer is revealed, and the song counts as a miss.

  4. Every song you name right counts as one — no speed bonus. Get all ten and you finish the day 10 / 10.

You can replay the clip as many times as you like before answering — but every question gives you exactly one guess.

Where do the share card's achievement captions come from?

They're real internet and Kpop fandom slang — written by fans over the years, not by AI. Expressions like all-kill, bias wrecker, ult and 'it's giving' are documented fan and Gen-Z terms; we only arrange them into a short one-liner for each score. About

Kpop Heardle is a free daily music quiz for Kpop fans. Every day at midnight UTC a new puzzle goes live: listen to a short snippet of a Kpop song and pick the right track from four choices.

Why I built it

It started with a childhood memory. When I was a kid, my big sister’s alarm clock was always set to a Kpop song, so every morning Kpop was the first thing we heard — the sound that woke up a new day.

Years later, the original Heardle proved that guessing a song from its opening seconds makes a perfect little daily ritual, and the two ideas clicked. I wanted a game that passes that morning-alarm feeling on: one Kpop song a day, for fans everywhere to wake up to and play together. So I built it around the whole Kpop catalog — from classic second-generation hits to the latest comebacks — and with multiple choice, so you can join in even if you don’t remember every exact title.

How it works

  • One puzzle per day, the same song for every player worldwide.
  • You get one guess: pick the right track from four options.
  • Guess right or wrong, the answer is revealed and you can listen to the full snippet.
  • Share your result as spoiler-free emoji and keep your streak going.

For the full rules, see How to play, and check the FAQ for common questions.
