How to play

Every song in the daily set works the same way:

  1. Press play to hear a clip of the song — up to 30 seconds long.

  2. Pick the track from four options, each shown as “title — idol”. Tapping an option locks in your guess.

  3. Guessed wrong? The question ends right there — your pick is crossed out, the correct answer is revealed, and the song counts as a miss.

  4. Every song you name right counts as one — no speed bonus. Get all ten and you finish the day 10 / 10.

You can replay the clip as many times as you like before answering — but every question gives you exactly one guess.

They're real internet and Kpop fandom slang — written by fans over the years, not by AI. About ITZY

ITZY debuted on February 12, 2019 under JYP Entertainment with the single album "IT'z Different" and its lead single "DALLA DALLA". The group has five members — Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna — and the line-up has stayed the same since debut. Two of them were familiar faces before the group even existed: Ryujin won the girls' division of the survival show MIXNINE, and Chaeryeong had competed on SIXTEEN, the programme that formed labelmates TWICE. Everything the five have released since is what this ITZY Heardle draws from.

The debut landed hard. The "DALLA DALLA" music video set a record at the time for the most views in 24 hours by a K-pop group's debut video, and the song took its first music-show trophy on M Countdown just nine days after release — then the fastest win ever for a girl group's debut single. ITZY went on to sweep Rookie of the Year honours across 2019's major year-end shows, including MAMA and the Melon Music Awards. "DALLA DALLA" is still the opening clip many ITZY Heardle players hope for.

Their identity was clear from day one: a "teen crush" concept built on self-confidence and self-love rather than the usual innocent-or-fierce dichotomy, delivered by one of the strongest dance lines of fourth-generation K-pop. The follow-ups kept the streak going — "ICY" in mid-2019, then "WANNABE" in March 2020, whose shoulder-dance chorus became one of the era's most copied choreography moments. Both eras are core ITZY Heardle territory — the intros are instantly recognisable.

The Korean discography moved quickly after that. The EPs "IT'z ICY" (2019), "IT'z ME" (2020) and "Not Shy" (2020) were followed by "GUESS WHO" (2021), whose lead single "In the Morning" traded the bright teen-crush sound for a darker mafia concept. Their first studio album "CRAZY IN LOVE" (September 2021), led by "LOCO", became their first entry on the US Billboard 200, debuting at number 11. Album cuts from this stretch fill a big share of the ITZY Heardle pool.

"CHECKMATE" (July 2022) went one better, opening at number eight on the Billboard 200 — their first top ten — with "SNEAKERS" as the lead single, and it launched the group's first world tour, which started in Seoul that August before heading to North America. The EPs "CHESHIRE" (2022) and "KILL MY DOUBT" (2023), the latter fronted by "CAKE" and "None of My Business", kept the annual cadence — and stocked ITZY Heardle with some of its trickiest openings.

"BORN TO BE" (January 2024) was a turning point: alongside the group cuts, every member got a solo track on the album. Lia had paused activities in September 2023 for health reasons, so the era was promoted as four, but she returned in 2024 and the "GOLD" EP that August was the first release with all five members back together. Since then the catalogue has kept growing — "Girls Will Be Girls" and "TUNNEL VISION" (both 2025) in Korea, plus a substantial Japanese run that includes the singles "Voltage" and "Blah Blah Blah" (2022), the album "RINGO" (2023), "Algorhythm" (2024) and the 2026 release "Motto". Leader Yeji also opened the group's solo chapter with her own debut in 2025.

Their fandom is called MIDZY, from the Korean word for "to trust". This ITZY Heardle mode is built for a catalogue that spans all of the above: press play, hear the opening seconds of a track, and pick the right title from four ITZY songs. Rounds deal ten at random and reveal each answer with album art — useful when an English version or a Japanese B-side sounds one notch away from the original you know.

ITZY Heardle FAQ

Quick answers on how ITZY Heardle works — the song pool, the rules and your stats.

When did ITZY debut and who are the members?

ITZY debuted on February 12, 2019 under JYP Entertainment with the single album "IT'z Different" and the lead single "DALLA DALLA". The five members are Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna, and the line-up has not changed since debut.

What does the name ITZY mean?

It plays on the Korean word "itzy" (있지), roughly meaning "to have it". The pitch at debut was that the group already has everything you could want in a team — the name doubles as that boast.

What is ITZY's concept?

They are the standard-bearers of the "teen crush" concept: confident, self-affirming songs aimed squarely at self-love, paired with demanding choreography. Later eras like "GUESS WHO" and "CHESHIRE" pushed into darker, moodier territory without dropping that core identity — a range you hear clearly across ITZY Heardle rounds.

What has ITZY released?

In Korea: the EPs "IT'z ICY" (2019), "IT'z ME" and "Not Shy" (2020), "GUESS WHO" (2021), "CHECKMATE" (2022), "CHESHIRE" (2022), "KILL MY DOUBT" (2023), "BORN TO BE" (2024), "GOLD" (2024), "Girls Will Be Girls" and "TUNNEL VISION" (2025), plus the studio album "CRAZY IN LOVE" (2021). In Japan: singles like "Voltage" and "Blah Blah Blah", the album "RINGO" (2023), "Algorhythm" (2024) and "Motto" (2026).

What records and awards has ITZY earned?

Their debut video for "DALLA DALLA" set a 24-hour viewing record for a K-pop group's debut at the time, and the song's M Countdown win came just nine days after release — then the fastest for a girl group's debut single. In 2019 they swept Rookie of the Year awards at the major year-end shows, and "CHECKMATE" later gave them a top-ten debut on the US Billboard 200.

Did ITZY ever promote without Lia?

Yes. Lia paused activities in September 2023 for health reasons, so the "BORN TO BE" era in early 2024 was promoted by four members. She returned later that year, and the "GOLD" EP in August 2024 was the group's first release with all five members active again.

What is ITZY's fandom called?

ITZY's official fandom is named MIDZY, drawn from the Korean word for "to trust".

What is ITZY's most famous song?

"WANNABE" (2020) is their defining hit — the shoulder dance from its chorus went viral far beyond K-pop fandom. "DALLA DALLA", "ICY", "LOCO" and "SNEAKERS" are the other singles most people recognise within the first seconds of an ITZY Heardle clip.

How many songs are in this ITZY Heardle?

The ITZY Heardle pool holds every ITZY track with a preview on Apple Music — Korean singles and EPs, the Japanese releases, and the English versions of the early hits. Each round is ten random songs. Solo releases by individual members, like Yeji's 2025 solo debut, are credited separately and are not part of this pool.

Why can ITZY songs be hard to guess?

ITZY Heardle is full of near-twins: many early hits exist in Korean, English and Japanese versions that open almost identically, and the production leans on big synth drops that can blur together. Listen past the intro for the vocal line before you lock in an answer.

Does ITZY Heardle affect my daily streak?

No — ITZY Heardle runs on a separate tally and never touches your daily streak or stats.
